My Story

Trauma Therapy & EMDR for Anxiety, Depression & Narcissistic Abuse Recovery

Are you feeling disconnected from yourself, struggling with anxiety or depression, and wondering why traditional approaches haven't brought lasting relief? I work with adults and older adolescents who are ready to explore the root causes of their symptoms rather than simply manage them on the surface.

My clients often have a history of trauma, complex relationships, or chronic stress that shows up as anxiety, depression, emotional overwhelm, or physical symptoms. I specialize in working with individuals navigating functional neurological disorder (FND), narcissistic abuse recovery, complex trauma, medical gaslighting, and major life transitions. Many people I work with have spent years suppressing their emotions or questioning their own experiences and are ready to reconnect with their inner clarity and resilience.

My Approach: Mind-Body Healing Through Trauma-Informed Therapy

I believe lasting healing happens when we honor the deep connection between mind and body. Drawing from 12 years as an occupational therapist, I understand how physical, emotional, and cognitive functioning are interwoven. This perspective shapes my holistic, trauma-informed approach, which integrates EMDR therapy, somatic interventions, and polyvagal theory to support nervous system regulation, emotional processing, and sustainable change.

In our work together, we gently examine patterns shaped by past relationships and experiences while building self-compassion, self-trust, and empowerment. Whether you're healing from complex PTSD, recovering from narcissistic abuse, or addressing anxiety and depression with roots in trauma, I offer evidence-based tools combined with compassionate support.

What to Expect in Therapy

Therapy isn't a quick fix—it's a transformative process that unfolds with patience and grace. Many of us were never taught self-compassion, especially during struggle. In our sessions, you'll have space to challenge long-standing patterns, give yourself permission to be imperfect, and recognize that meaningful progress often happens gradually.

I consider it an honor to support you in rediscovering who you were before outside forces led you to believe you weren't enough. As a therapist, I'm passionate about helping people understand their emotions, reclaim their agency, and move toward authentic, fulfilling lives. Walking alongside someone as they reconnect with themselves and create meaningful change is deeply meaningful to me.
